My Wedding Song!!! (Part. 1)

I know I say that a lot of songs will be my wedding song (I have had a playlist for them for some 4 years now). So I am going to post them all, just not as once.

Ciara- "Promise"

This one is one of the front runners. Produced by Pollow da Don, "Promise" sounds like a wedding song from the moon. Its still crunk, and C sounds a lil' like a ho, but it all comes together for the song. I would want to get married on the moon too. That would be festive.

Godbless the Freemasons!!!! (Pt. 2)

The Knowles are paying the Freemasons a lot I am guessing, considering that both of these remixes were relased as the offical singles in the UK (the only place where The Wig Krypt is free to be).

That being said, "Green Light," by B did not really need to be remixed (besides the clear "1 Thing" rip off, but the mix still is cute. It makes a gay song gayer, which is what the Freemasons set out to do with music, i think.

This is not the case with Knowles shoe polisher in redience, Soloange. "I Decided (Pt.1)" by the usually amazing (by american standards) The Neptunes, is some sort of mess. The freemasons took it and made it what it should be, but the extended mix is where gay meets old skool soul music, and may even be one of the best singles of the year (although the same can not be said about the video).

I Don't Know How I Even Got This...

But i have it.
It's all good, I don't listen to these as much as I should but here they are:

Rare Song of the Week!!!

A lot of songs don't come out for a reason. They usually suck, and are shifted off to Japan import copies or a promo-only b-side, if even released at all. So I figure that every week I will post one of the good ones of these songs from the dead.

Janet Jackson-"Put Your Hands On"
I am one of the few people I know who liked the Damita Jo mess. It was very UK R'n'B made for america (which it really is). This one was co-written by common Sugababes and Kylie collobrator, Karen Pool. It was only released on the JPN edt.

The Best British Band Since The Beatles!!

Girls Aloud are basically the child of Xenomania, meaning that they are very good. They have put out 4 albums and a greatest hits, and are Huge, but only in the UK, which also means only in my heart. While not as talented as their rivals, Sugababes, they are much hotter, and Girls Aloud album tracks (usually) are better than the 'babes. Here is an example from the somewhat lackluster Tangled Up, from 2007. (Even though the Babes last album was better...)
Girls Aloud- "Control of the Knife"

Godbless the Freemasons!!!! (Pt. 1)

As most of you know, I live for the Freemasons. Productions and/or remixes, anything they touch is usually:
1. Amazing
2. Over 7 min long
3. Very Gay
Now, clearly this all equals one thing and one thing only- very good.

One of their first production credits for others, Ms. Kylie, is "The One." Even though the Freemasons also remixed the track to fit their amazing/long/gay catalogue,  the album version is still best (such a shame she did not perform it when i traveled across the ocean to see her this summer!)

Bye Bye To July!!

Put your hands to the sky-we wont ever say BYE BYE! to July.
I love that mariah makes songs that can rhyme with ANYTHING.

So yea-these are my five favourite songs that i discovered in July (in no specific order)
Some are new, some are old, some i have had for a while but just got into this month

1. Saint Etienne- "Sylvie"
I have to say that i got into this whole album, Good Humor, while in Spain last month, but when i saw this video, which is one of their few videos with an actual budget, the song clicked. I love the vocals, and it has a bit of a house singiture common to most SE songs.

2. Sarah Connor- "Under My Skin"
I realy did not want to like this song. Its by some German pop tart who has limited talent, and id even 2nd that on her looks. But the song sounds like it has a Knife sample in it. Its very Euro Timbaland, which is common of the Producer Remme (who did some still amazing Monrose songs last yr). Anyway, the song is about being a whore. And i love it.

3. The Saturdays- "If This Is Love"
If this becomes a hit, then they are the 2nd coming of Girls Aloud. Not only armed with writing credits, they have a Yazoo! sample backing their debut single. The girls are cute, the words make no sense, and the chorus is killer. Even though its very girls aloud (and no, Xenomania did not produce this), it makes up for Tangled Up being underwhelming. They kinda look like all dem girls from Gossip Girl.

4. Michelle Williams- "Lucky Girl"

It would be hard for me to pick the best cut so far from what has leaked from Destiny's Child resident back-up dancer, Ms. Michelle Williams. I don't know why she waited so long to make secular/amazing music. It sounds like if (the very amazing) Danity Kane made music in the early 90s, and let the black Kate Bush (because how else could you really describe Michelle's voice) sing.

5. Annie - "Songs Remind Me of You"

enough said.

Why Do All My Friends Hate This?

Riddle me this, friends, why do y'all seem to HATE this song so much???? I mean, yes, it is not exactly "Queen of the Night," or my personal favourite, "I Was Made To Love Him," but it IS the best Whitney Song in nearly a decade (i know that's not saying much, but still...) It is a duet with Akon, Mr. Konvict, and its a duet about coming back after being away (hanging out with Dianne Sawyer I take it...)

It sounds like if Akon did "My Love Is Your Love" instead of Wycleff (and without the namecheck of the Amistead as well)

Whitney Houston Feat Akon- Like I Never Left

This Is A Test

hey y'all, so i decided (!) to get my shit into gear an start blogging. I am going to blog all about things including but not limited to:

Now, i can tell you already that i do not have room in my bandwith for HATERS, so if that is you, and y'all know who you is, please go here
That being said, this seems like a blog i would like to read. (Even thou i dont know html at all, but i dont care.)

And as a lil' gift to all my lambs, this is one of my fav remixes of her's, (and by Her, we all know who i mean, The Good Shepherd) by one of my fav remixers, Maurice Jousha, who started paying his bills by remixing most of The Wig Crypt's songs back when...
